This is the official site for the 2020 Texas Gathering of the Guard. This fundraising event is the ONLY fundraiser for the state. All proceeds go toward helping the Texas Patriot Guard complete its missions, and any costs that may come up during the year.
!!! Due to the increasing safety concerns and the Emergency order that restricts gatherings of more than ten people, the 2020 Gathering of the Guard is now cancelled. Further instructions will be emailed to you if you have already registered or sent in your information recently !!!

Registration/Fees - $40.00 Registration fee will cover two breakfasts (breakfast burritos) and a BBQ Dinner from Holy Smokes BBQ and Catering. We will also be providing, sodas, juice, water. MAIL IN REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 27TH. We will have a card reader for in house registration and the auction, but be aware the app will charge you a fee for the transaction..

PEOPLE WHO ARE DAY TRIPPING – The Resort has a $5.00 fee for folks who are not staying at the resort that will cover full use of the facilities. Do not pay this fee to the PGR; the owners have an honor box with envelopes so you can pay when you get there, and we'll have extra envelopes on hand if needed. Auction - Saturday, April 4th
We need items for our auction! Can be an item or service. Dealers, vendors and retail merchants are always willing to help a good cause. Funds raised go to the Patriot Guard Riders of Texas, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. NEW items only, please. We will have a card reader for people who prefer to use their credit cards, but be aware that the app will charge a fee for your transaction.

Things to do

Ride One
The Tour is three hours if you don't stop, but most of the points of interest listed above can be visited on this route.

Luckenbach via Fredricksburg. About 1.5 hrs plus stops.

Ride Three
Head East. The Moto Museum in Burnet, World Famous Hamburgers in Andice or the Dahlia Cafe in Liberty Hill, and pie to close it out in Marble Falls. Two hours plus stops.

Wildflower ride including Willow City Loop. About three hours plus stops. Be aware the Loop can be busy on spring weekends.

NW Loop, Brady, San Saba, and Colorado Bend State Park. 3 hrs plus stops. Another good wildflower ride.
Northwest Loop

Ride Six
Park Rd 4, Burnet, & Canyon of the Eagles Resort lake route. About 1.5 hrs plus stops.
Lake Road Ride

Buchanan Dam
Built by the LCRA in 1939, it is the largest multi-arch dam in the world. Easy access is right off Hwy 29.

Longhorn Caverns
Developed in the 1930s by the CCC, Longhorn Cavern is an underground wonder and worth a look.


Enchanted Rock
This massive pink granite dome has drawn people for thousands of years. Climb to the top for a helluva view.

Hill Country Motorheads
This Burnet museum houses a premier collection of street bikes, choppers, dirt bikes, flat track and other bikes from the 1960-1980’s.

National Museum of the Pacific War
The museum and grounds in Fredericksburg is not to be missed. Set aside four hours, minimum.

Luckenbach
Everybody is somebody in Luckenbach. If you've never made the pilgrimage here's your chance.
